What Teachers Say
“Students are aware of climate issues, but the fresco emphasizes interconnections. It develops critical and collaborative thinking, promoting exchange of ideas and solutions. Even as an adult in sustainable development, I learned several things.”
Scott Stewart,
Sustainable Development Technician Educational Services Pedagogy
“When combining hands-on activities with collective reflection, students become aware of the problem's magnitude and are motivated to find solutions.”
Anne-Marie Bazinet,
High School Teacher in Sciences and Food Studies
“The activity allowed us to apply prior knowledge and connect concepts. Its visual aspect effectively illustrates causal relationships, and the collaborative nature fosters relevant discussions. This experience, adapted to their level, would benefit students.”
Alexandre Patry-Barrette, Grade 7 teacher, Gisèle Lalonde Public School
“The Climate Fresk was an enriching experience, revealing diverse ways to structure geographical elements. It shifted my approach from traditional segmented teaching to interconnected themes. This new understanding fosters richer critical thinking in my courses.”
